I was bored… it’s not so often that I do art on the computer. The last thing I did was my messy Tsuko-tan. Then there’s this awful thing done in February… Oh, and here is a fail picture of Lillie, my original character / blog mascot who has not actually appeared on my blog until today, from April. :P

Also, you could maybe count Black Rock Bankrobber? Except she was mostly drawn not on the computer. :|

Anyway, yeah, I don’t use the computer for art much… this computer is really awful and my tablet doesn’t work with it half the time, and my iBook, it works, but not so great. (I drew Yui’s head once… kind of fail in a cute way, but I was using Paint, Write and Play, a kids programs that was actually the very first thing I ever used on a computer, in like ‘97. :O) Most of my drawings are just pen stuff on school work, I love drawing with pens. :] Although, another pen died today… I only have two left. I don’t even know how this one went, I had only been using it for a few days. :\

Okay, enough of that. :P Maybe sometime I’ll post some more stuff. My printer is all messed up though (probably because of this messed up computer)… things print fine, things copy fine, but it won’t scan! :[ It used to scan just fine though…

edit: I actually logged in to my dA… was looking at the stuff of Katlyn, the person I’ve been kind of friends with for the past ten years. idk why, but her stuff is hilarious… XD

Ichigo~ :D My current wallpaper… for Windows. iBook is Daria again right now, but it changes all the time.

Fail post title… seriously though, I can never make post titles. “stuff” “stupid” “what” “wow” “get!”…

Anyway, I’m pretty bored (oh wow, I almost typed “board”. :O) so I’m going to type some stuff.

I’ve been watching Nadesico now… I’m about half-way through. It’s pretty cool. Yurika is really cute… Ruri is the one that’s so much more popular, and she is really funny and stuff, but I just love Yurika. Childhood friend characters are always great. You just can’t help but want them to win the heart of the main person or whatever. Her cheeriness is great too.

Gai was also awesome, while he lasted… :| Can’t believe he died…I don’t watch much anime, so I don’t really see so many where people die, so it always gets a reaction out of me, kind of shock when I watch an anime and somebody dies. Like in Geass. XD But in Geass pretty much everybody came back to life, except like Monica, which sucked since she only lasted like, five seconds.

I can’t say I like Megumi though…

None anime related, but who says I have to only write about animu? I really love Daria, and recently there are some new things about the DVD release… whole thing, with movies and maybe even released in Spring! :D I hope so much they come out that soon, April would be awesome because then I’d maybe be able to have them by my birthday.

Thinking of April… Animinitime. Still don’t know what to cosplay! First I was thinking Saihate, ‘cos I would already own everything but the wig and the necktie… but all black is no fun. Another potential Miku to do was Lots of Laugh, but it’s too pink and cutesy, I think. Then, World is Mine, but even though I love the outfit, I hate the art and I’m not a big fan of the song. One last Miku was Melt, 2M Mix ver. I think I’ll do that for one of the two Animinitimes, but I kind of want to something else too… going back to Nadesico, I wouldn’t mind doing a cosplay from that, but the uniforms seem kind of complicated.

I wish I had one solid idea of what to do. I really wish I could cosplay one of my absoloute favourite characters, but…

Akito, Air Gear >> A guy, crossplay = no.

Konomi, To Heart 2 >> Flat (usually) and short = no.

Dejiko, Di Gi Charat >> Ten years old. So, obviously, flat and short.

Komugi, Nurse Witch Komugi = Flat, and I’m pretty sure she’s fairly short.

All of my favourites are flat and short… >__>

One thing I hate in cosplay is people being characters they just don’t fit… and maybe chest size isn’t too bad, unless it’s really extreme, like a flat Tamaki or BRS with Cs, but height? If it’s a few centimetres difference, sure, but please, Puchiko is a metre tall. Dejiko isn’t even one and a half. Usada is okay though… I like this cosplay of her, that wig is really pretty.

Some people are okay with not being the same as a character, but because of cosplays of Dejiko and Puchiko… it bugs me to bits.

(Although now, I’m kind of considering Usada… XD 164 cm isn’t so bad, I’m like 168?)

So want. Had not really cared about this one, since I’m not a huge Touhou fan (Marisa, Alice and Patchy, that’s it.) but finished, she looks so sweet!

Also, now price and size for Figyutto! :D

Not so bad. Konomi, I had decided I would get no matter what, probably will get Tamaki uniform version also. If they make a swimsuit Konomi, have to buy swimsuit Tamaki too…

Then if they come out with Marisa, Alice and/or Patchouli, probably get.

I’m probably thinking ahead too much, but anyhow, I’ll definitely get this (thank you in advance, Ami Ami! :D) and Konomi… :3

Seriously though, this is just barely a minute long.

But, I like how the main menu looks. XD The buttons change colour. Also, a bit more of an appearance of my drawings, have never really posted anything on here. (save for BRBR. :D )

Suzuhira Hiro goth girl~ :D This picture, I think is pretty well-known, someone even made a GK of it. But, it’s by Suzuhira Hiro, and I love her art. :D

Anyway, post about today… because it was kind of interesting. :|

Well, mostly we did word searches and crosswords and crap today… I really hate when we do “fun” stuff in school. I mean, this is two days in a row that we didn’t have Math… well, that was ‘cos of the Science test, which I did really bad on… :| But today it was for crosswords. And then in the afternoon, last hour is a dance.

A dance… ugh… can’t believe people actually pay to go to these? I’d pay NOT to go. Like, it’s all dark except the stage, no light whatsoever elsewhere… and the music is so loud, that you can’t even hear it. Add in the crowds, and the fact that the music was complete shit (they played Justin Bieber THREE TIMES. “One Time” was played twice, and then there was “One Less Lonely Girl”.) and… wow.

So basically we just stood around… “we” being the usual people I hang around, in order to not be approached by even stranger people… Courtney (not festive. :P Well, the earrings kind of were), Katlyn (looked like a bag of skittles threw up on her, but she was supposed to be this weird version of the Mad Hatter. She was mad alright…), Ali (had fangs. But she’s just kind of scary as it is. :P ), Leah (angel wings + halo.) and Michelle (devil horns)… (btw, me, I had bat wing headband, but it was annoying bcause I had to place it so far back because of my glasses, and it kept falling over, so I had to take it off… but other than that, pretty normal clothes, or at least for me… check skirt, thighhighs… also I had this big scarf. There’s a story, but it can’t really be put into words. And well, also, I wish my shirt buttoned up higher. :P Need to add something to fix that…

There was one kind of funny part though… Zach is this guy that I guess is Leah’s boyfriend, or at least one time, I have no idea really, but anyway he was some army person or something, idk, there was camo, but he had a hat with a light on it, the kind you push, and Courtney is like “stop it! People will know who we are!”. Kind of funny…

Also there was this guy sitting in the corner reading, it’s like, how can you see? But then that’s the same thing I wonder about Ali with her insane fringe and the fact she nearly never wears her glasses… (but then I tried them one time, and they were like the same as nothing. :P )

Hopefully back to normal actually doing school work and not missing Math on Monday… seriously though, of the whole day, the only teacher who gave us any actual work was the French teacher…

(it was about word types (is there are real word for that? like verbs and stuff?) because it seems like no one can tell the difference between a verb and an adjective… )

Something new today~ <3

This is an anime I’ve wanted to watch for years. I’m serious. :D I saw an ad for it in Anime Insider (R.I.P.), which I used to read back when I had a) no money, and b) no high-speed internet. I’d read it at the library, like all the manga I read back then. (but didn’t watch much anime, except the edited stuff on TV, because the computer we had then didn’t have a DVD drive, and I’ve never liked watching animu when other people are around, idk why. :P )

Anyway, I’ve always remember it since then. When HLJ had their free shipping thing, I was going to buy something, but there wasn’t really anything I wanted… so I bought this instead. :D

Also, so much Comic Sans fail… it’s a shame that awful font came from the most fabulous programs in the world… MS Bob. :D

Amazing surprise, it came with a window cling! :D When I buy anime DVDs, I don’t care about the content. I just like having the physical item, so I love stuff like this.

Here, is my entire anime and manga collection. The manga is especially sad, because the Fruits Basket was a gift, the Air Gear came with Pinky:St figures, and the Di Gi Charat was with the limited box of Di Gi Charat.

The Haruhi DVD, I’m not exactly sure why I have. :| I don’t even like Haruhi that much, but I for some reason bought it. I’d like to sell it, but I don’t like shipping stuff… always get worried something will go wrong…

daiki: a rant about price tags

Figure collecting isn’t cheap. We all know that. For my seven scale figures, I have paid nearly $400 Canadian.

But, newly announced by Daiki, is a 1/4 Ryomou, with a price worth more than my entire scale figure collection.

It’s not the first time they’ve had a ridiculously over priced figure, see their 1/4 Saber. :P

But, Saber seems like a bargain at 28350 yen, versus Ryomou’s 45000.

But what really gets me is Seyada Tara. She’s also 1/4, and was released last year for 29000 yen. Pretty bad, but at least this figure had the light-up gimmick. As well, she’s also cast-off.

(the GK versions of both the Ryomou and Saber are cast-off, but whether the PVC versions are too is unknown.)

But then, Daiki isn’t the only one with ridiculous prices. What about GSC? Honestly, why, why why should I have to pay 9800 yen for Saber Lily and BRS? I will, because I preordered them, I guess it’s only right to purchase them, (Can’t say I’ll keep them though…) but neither of them are so fantastic as to have to pay that much. :|

However, I can’t be too mean to GSC, because at least they can price their 1/4 scales properly. Their swimsuit Nanoha and Fate, both much cuter than all three of those Daiki figures put together (okay, maybe not Tara, lol. :P ) only cost 12000 yen.

FREEing has good prices too… the Haruhi bunnies are 9800 yen or 11800 yen, Kojikan girls are also 11800, and Lucky Star are 11800 yen for Konata (which makes no sense, all the other FREEing LS girls are pretty bad looking. :\ ) and 12800 for the others. Okay, some of FREEing’s sculpts are pretty crap to me, but the Haruhi ones are all really nice, especially Ryoko, and Konata is pretty cute too.

And hey, none of FREEing (or GSC’s for that matter) are as ridiculously overpriced.

Okay, stupid story here…

So, first class of the day, PDR, in the computer lab, doing some job thing or something. We don’t get to choose our seats in there, I’m stuck between Gage and Jamie… Jamie has some radio site going, and is singing. So, I go on Twitter.

“another crappy half-hour of computer with Jamie… D:”

Gage tries to go on Youtube, and obviously fails, since there’s a block. Then he sees that I’m on Twitter, and all like “how do you do that?”. I say, “proxy”, and then he starts doing some crap in Command Prompt… this is the same person that last year, saw me messing around in Command Prompt and decided that I was hacking… D: Anyway, that failed (obviously), and he goes on asking what a proxy is… after a while, I say “Google is your friend.”

Honestly, how to people not know what a proxy is? It seems like all the average person knows about the internet is Facebook and Youtube. Which would be fine if it’s 1994 or something, but seriously! This is 2009. D:
